Tent and Outdoor Event Floor Tiles Temperature Test

If you've ever wondered how hot flooring gets when left in the direct sun for extended periods of time, you'll want to see this video. Here we test the surface temperature of three outdoor tent and event floor tiles after they've been left in the direct sunlight for 4 hours on an 81 degree day in Milltown, Wisconsin.
Our Portable Outdoor and Tent Tiles are available in 2 different color options - black and gray. As you might expect the black tiles did heat up more than the lighter gray tile by about an 12 degree difference. As the gray tiles heated up to 99 degrees and the black, 111 degrees.
We also tested the gray Matrax Light Duty Pedestrian Composite mats, which heated up to more than 116 degrees.
