How To Cut Marley Dance Flooring

You’ll need a sharp utility knife with a fresh blade, a straight edge guide, tape measure, a pen or marker and something safe to cut over.
Measure the length of the marley you’d like - and mark that distance. Place cardboard or a cutting mat under the area you’d like to cut to prevent damage to your existing floor. Then align your straight edge with the pen or marker marks.
Following your straight edge with the sharp utility knife, use a series of shallow scores until you cut through the marley. If it does not cut easily, you need a fresh blade.
