Have you ever wondered just how much cushion Greatmats 1/2 inch thick soft EVA foam puzzle mats provide? To demonstrate this, we decided to see what would happen if we dropped two fragile items off a second story deck onto the mats roughly 12 feet below. We started with raw eggs and moved on to glass stemware. The raw eggs bounced off the soft interlocking foam flooring tiles while the stem on the glass broke upon impact, leaving the top of the glass intact.
