Manhattan Edge Laminate SPC Flooring 21.95 SF per Carton has realistic wood grain details. These wide planks are extremely durable and feature click together DIY easy installation. Random length planks are 9 inches wide and 7.5 mm thick.

The top layer contains an embossed surface, which adds to the realistic look of this flooring. It has a wear layer of about 0.03 inches in thickness, which does a nice job of protecting the printed faux wood grain image, allowing it to remain looking like new well after the install process ends.

Multiple shades of color are available in the faux wood stain. Designers can select among dark browns, light browns, or grays.

Within each individual plank, designers will find a variety of color shades. This helps to contribute to the realistic overall design of the floor, as actual hardwood floors contain random color shades within individual planks.

The wood grain patterns in the laminate flooring are completely random among all of the pieces inside the carton. This enhances the realistic look of the final layout.

Additionally, the manufacturer painted the beveled edges on each plank, which enhances the look of the flooring upon installation. Visitors to the space will believe they’re looking at a real hardwood floor at the first glance into the room.

Durable Laminate Flooring Option

These laminate planks are extremely durable, so customers can be certain they will receive an outstanding value over time. They carry a limited 35-year manufacturer’s residential finish warranty and a limited lifetime manufacturer’s structural warranty.

It has a rigid core technology that provides outstanding stability in the floor. It also resists scratches and other types of damage.

On the underside of the floor planks, the manufacturer added a 1.5 mm thick underlayment foam layer. This delivers a bit of noise reduction, while also providing cushioning for those using the floor.

The installation process for these planks is extremely easy, as the interlocking tongue and groove edges pop together without the need for adhesive.

Start in one corner of the room by laying a full plank. Leave a 1/4-inch gap between the edges of each plank and the walls to allow for potential expansion during changes in temperature and humidity.

Continue attaching planks across the room in a row by connecting the short edges of the planks. When approaching the end of the room, the installer will need to cut the plank to fit in the remaining space. Each plank only measures about 0.3 inches in thickness, so a utility knife should penetrate the plank easily.

When attaching a cut piece to the row, avoid using any piece that is less than 8 inches in length. Adjust the length of other planks in the row to ensure that the final piece will not be less than 8 inches in length.

Maintenance and Care

Cleaning our laminate flooring does not require a lot of extra work or time. This style of vinyl floor will resist scuffs, scratches, and stains through the inclusion of the WaterShield SPC Rigid Core technology.

For basic daily cleaning needs, customers can simply use a broom, dry mop, or vacuum cleaner on the vinyl. These represent the best methods for quick cleanings without needing water.

If vacuuming, only use a machine with a felt or brush attachment. A vacuum machine with a beater bar head could damage the floor surface.

Should the floor end up with pet accidents or spills on it, try to clean them as quickly as possible. This model of flooring does offer a limited lifetime waterproof warranty, which protects the customer from having the floor lose integrity because of water exposure. Removing spills can help avoid staining, however.

For removing stubborn stains or soils, wet mop the planks with a general floor cleaning product. Avoid using harsh cleaners that contain bleach, ammonia, or waxes.

Maintenance

Sweep or dust mop your floor once a week or more with an approved floor cleaner. Spills, pet accidents, or tracked in dirt should be cleaned immediately. Never clean or wet mop with water, water may damage floor. Use a wood floor cleaner, do not use harsh abrasive cleaners.
