For special events that require portable dance floors, Greatmats offers our own top-quality, wood grain look, EZ Connect Portable Dance Floor. This portable dance floor is a snap-together, modular tile that is designed for repeated installations. The durable loop and tab locking system fits together tightly when connected and is easy to separate when the party is over. This connection style is far more durable than many products on the market today. Stack this dance floor on push carts or in cartons for easy transport and storage. Border strips are available to provide a safe transition on and off the portable dance flooring surface. 

Most tap dance studios opt for a black, hard-shoe, vinyl dance flooring material. This is the best color for reducing unsightly marks left by tap shoes on the dance floor. For soft shoe dance types including ballet and modern, many of our customers will choose a gray marley dance flooring material. Soft shoe and bare foot dance types can utilize a softer and more supple vinyl dance flooring material that can also be used as a portable event dance floor when needed. 

For professional dance studio installations most customers will install their marley vinyl dance floor themselves using a tape-down install method. Simply apply our specifically designed, single sided vinyl tape on top of the marley dance floor to cover the seams. Double sided tape is used around the perimeter. Vinyl dance flooring can be purchased in full roll lengths at a discount or in cut lengths specific to your room size. Cut lengths of vinyl dance flooring material are easier to handle and install. Full size rolls can weigh as much as 270 lbs. 

Shipping of dance floor material is generally via freight delivery or ground service for smaller projects or for home deliveries. Large full size dance floor studio projects will require a freight delivery. Portable dance flooring is packaged in easy-to-handle 1x2 ft sized cartons with 26 dance floor tiles per carton. Larger projects will ship via freight delivery on pallets. 

Rosco marley vinyl dance floor should be cleaned with Rosco brand floor cleaner which is available in standard or full-strength. Cleaning vinyl dance floors twice a week is recommended in most professional dance studios in order to maintain the floor for many years of use. Our portable dance flooring tiles can be cleaned with common household floor cleaner with a damp mop. Portable dance flooring tiles are completely waterproof and designed to withstand years of repeated usages.
