Geneva Interlocking Rubber Tiles for Gyms
When you need to cover a large space at a commercial gym, the Geneva Interlocking Rubber Tiles have a 3x3 foot size that makes the layout go fast and reduces the number of visible seams.
The 3x3 foot Geneva rubber tiles are available in 4 thickness options: 1/4 inch, 8 mm, 3/8 inch, and 1/2 inch. The thicker tiles will provide more protection against heavy equipment and dropped weights. The 1/4 inch tiles are an economical choice for covering large areas and provide adequate protection in cardio areas where weights won't be accidentally dropped.
Interlocking rubber tiles are also used for indoor ice rinks where skaters will be walking in their skates. We recommend using thicker tiles for increased durability.
The Geneva tiles are available in black or 10% color fleck options in various colors.
Easy DIY Installation
For the commercial gym owner who wants to save some money when installing a gym floor tile, our interlock tiles do not require any adhesive to create a connection that can stand up to rough workouts.
Just pop the rubber floor tiles together almost like a jigsaw puzzle to set them in place. By not using glue, you then have the option of pulling the rubber flooring tiles apart and returning to the subfloor.
If you want an island installation, the tiles include border and corner pieces that connect to each full-size tile securely. For a wall-to-wall layout, just cut them to fit with a utility knife.
Environmentally Friendly
The Geneva rubber floor tiles contain at least 85% post-consumer recycled material, which gives you an eco-friendly type of flooring. This keeps old rubber products out of the landfill.

Disclaimer
1/4 inch thick rubber flooring is best used in spinning rooms, cardio areas, and light-duty commercial areas. For commercial gyms with heavy equipment, it is recommended to use 8mm or thicker rubber flooring.
Any black recycled rubber material can have minor variations in the intensity of the black color. The rubber flooring can have a shading look when the product changes direction when placed on the floor. This occurs due to the way light is reflected and how the human eye sees the color. Installing the product in the same direction can diminish the appearance of color differences.
The warranty excludes premature wear caused by ice skates in heavy-use areas such as penalty boxes, walkways to and from the ice, etc. We recommend using blade protectors when walking on this flooring with ice skates.
Maintenance
For regular cleaning damp mop with hot water and a neutral pH cleaner, such as Taski Profi.

A: 9 tiles is the minimum order for this product. This tile is 3x3 ft in size and can only be shipped via freight delivery on a pallet. For smaller installations and home use, we recommend a 2x2 ft interlocking rubber tile option.
Q: Is there an outer edge for this tile with a bevel so there would be no trip hazard?
A: This tile does not offer a beveled ramp edge. One could be purchased locally.
Q: Can these be installed over carpet?
A: Generally, it's not recommended to be installed over carpeting; if this is needed, we recommend using plywood first, then installing the rubber tiles.
Q: Can appliances, like refrigerators and freezers, be placed on this product? I'm converting a garage into a family room/bar area.
A: Yes, heavy appliances can be placed on this rubber tile. The rubber material is hard, like a car tire.
Q: Can these tiles go over a basement concrete floor that is exposed to sand from the yard and wet kids coming from the pool?
A: Sure, this rubber floor tile will take the abuse of sand and some water.
Q: Is the material natural or synthetic rubber? Is it a mix?
A: These tiles are produced with recycled tire granules. It's also referred to as SBR rubber.
Q: Could these be used on a flat roof to keep hail from damaging it? Will direct sunlight and weather cause it to deteriorate? Can water drain under each tile? Is there a better product than this for this purpose?
