These tiles are waterjet cut from a 4 ft wide rolled rubber material that is skived from a cylinder core, which means that some tiles may have a slight curve to the tiles, all of the rubber tiles in a job should be installed with the same side down. If the tiles do not want to lay perfectly flat during initial installation, one option is to use an Indoor Doubled Sided Carpet Tape in order to hold the tiles flat. Often waiting some time to allow the tiles to relax flat will also work.
Always use Neutral Ph cleaner on rubber flooring. Damp mop with hot water, use two buckets to keep mop clean.Shipping

Q & A⌃ Back to top
Do you recommend this product be installed over/on top of carpet? If not, do you have a product you would recommend to put on top of carpet?
Can you put this over carpet?
Can these tiles be placed safely over a bamboo wood floor (i.e. without damaging the bamboo flooring)? It has been suggested to us that there may be moisture problems with placing rubber gym flooring over our bamboo floors in our home gym.
Are these tiles also available in edge and corner pieces?
Do apply an adhesive to the bottom of the tiles or is it just laid on top of the floor?
If I place these tiles directly on my basement floor, will mold grow under the tiles because they are directly laying on top of the porous concrete surface?
Could these mats be used in a horse stable isle way only? Looking for something durable but could be less durable than an actual stall mat.
Should you offset the rubber tiles or does it matter?
Very satisfied - installed easily over carpeting; much higher quality than the foam mats that are available from discount stores.
The tiles were heavy but easy to install. Interlocking feature really makes it great for installing and moving tiles around. This flooring was installed wall to wall in a small personal service Spin Studio and works great for cushioning under the Spin bikes as well as for overall flooring. The only con to the product is the strong rubber smell that takes a while to dissipate.
I used this rubber tile in my home gym and it worked out really great. Thanks to Greatmats for an easy ordering process and quick shipment. It looks like this rubber tile will last a really long time in my gym.
