Customer Reviews For rubber gym floor at Greatmats:
Most Common Product Questions For rubber gym floor at Greatmats:
Can this product be installed in a basement? Also, is it soft on bare feet?
This product can be installed indoors and is generally designed as a sports flooring, not sure if its soft on bare feet.
Is this product stable enough to lay on sand? If so how many tiles would i need for a 30x40 tent floor
This product is really designed for a firm hard flat surface, otherwise it might be wavey. The rolls are 15 ft wide and so you would need 80 Linear feet total or two rolls at 40 LF each.
Hello will this product interlock with other rubber flooring/tiles produced by GreatMats?
It will only interlocking with tiles of the same product name, only with itself.
Will the turf tiles buckle when sleds slide across the interlocks? Or will the sleds catch where the tiles meet?
Because of the way these interlocking sports turf tiles fit together, they create a tight seam. This limits the possibility that an athlete could trip over the seam or that a push sled could get caught up in the seam.
How much weight on the sled can these tiles support?
We don't know of a limit as long as the sled has skis that do not ''catch'' and damage the Turf.
Can this turf be used outside such on a rooftop for fitness gym activity without degrading due to sun and rain?
This is designed as an indoor surface and has not been UV treated.
Thank you for answering that this turf tile is not UV rated and not recommended for outdoor use. Do you have an artificial turf solution that may be used for outdoor flat roof installation and is durable enough for athletic activity such as crossfit (battle ropes, weight lifting, etc) as well as sun and rain?
We do not have testing data for CrossFit on a rooftop.
Can this be installed over hardwood floors?
This product theoretically can be installed over any hard flat surface.
