Most Common Product Questions For rubber gym floor at Greatmats:
How much of this per sf? Do you glue these tiles to the ground or just to each other?
The manufacturer recommends that each tube can over 10 tiles for the glue down installation, and when used between the tiles, each tube will cover 20 tiles. The tiles should be glued to each other and then the tiles around the 2 perimeter courses should be glued to the ground.
How firm is this wedge mat?
These wedges are firm for training and tumbling.
Does this need to be installed with adhesive? Or can I just put the pieces on a wood/vinyl floor without adhesive? I'm just using it as a runner in a couple places as 2'x10'.
For home use you can try a dry lay and if that does not work then use double sided carpet tape to keep the material in place. 1/8 inch is more of an underlayment.
