Most Common Product Questions For rubber gym floor at Greatmats:
Does this need a mat underneath if being installed on concrete slab?
Not necessarily, this carpet tile can be installed directly onto concrete. For more cushion you might consider an underlayment.
What makes this flooring anti-static?
Polypropylene is a static-dissipative plastic.
What do you recommend as an under layer if we plan to use this over tile? Would the pylometric mat roll be suitable?
This gym carpet tile should be glued down directly to a hard, flat floor.
Can this be glued directly to the wood sub-floor? I am using for a home gym. Is this what you recommend or interlocking?
These tiles can be glued to wood. For other recommendations for your specific needs, please contact us by phone or email.
Can these be installed over a tile floor?
Yes. The tiles can be loose laid on flat, dry floors free from impurities such as oil, grease etc. Cracked floors should be filled, and uneven floors covered with hardboard.
What type of glue should I use if adhering to wood floors?
All of our carpet tiles can be glued with a pressure sensitive carpet glue.
