Most Common Product Questions For rubber flooring roll at Greatmats:
Can this be used outside, for example, in an outdoor tack up area, or an outdoor holding stall? Will direct sunlight damage the mat?
Eventually UV rays will break down most rubber tiles like this product, and it can be used outdoors for many years. The tiles last longer with less UV exposure.
How does this product work as far as the horse urinating on them ,do u have to take them apart to squirt them off w hose ? Granted the bedding absorbs most urine, but what would the mucking the process be??
Its best to have enough bedding to absorb any moisture. The mats can be hosed off for cleaning as needed. We dont see customers taking up the mats to clean under neither them often.
I see in the sample installation diagram on your website that it appears to be for a 10X10 stall. It looks as though there is a piece in the center of the installation that is approx 1' square. Is the interlocking edges strong enough to keep a horse that paws from pulling it apart?
The center tiles is a 2 ft x 2 ft square. The tiles are water jet cut with precision. They do not come apart easily.
Are the edges of the finished mat straight or do they have the interlocking edges? Are there edge pieces?
This stall kit has interlocking tiles with border tiles and corner tiles.
