can it be used outside?
This rubber roll is really designed for indoor use.
Your mats look great although will they move while working out over tile flooring
If the tile is a flat surface then no it will not slip, this rubber will grip the floor pretty well.
If I am covering an entire gym floor with the 1/4 inch rolls, is it possible or make sense to glue it to a plywood floor inorder to keep the seams from coming apart. The room size is 14' X 19'. Should I consider another product?
It is possible to glue down or use double-sided tape to keep these rolls in place over plywood. If you'd like fewer seams, you may want to consider rolls of custom length. It would cut the number of seams significantly. Yes. This would be suitable for kennels. Just be aware that it can trap moisture underneath the rubber if water/urine somehow gets under it. In which case, you'll want to pick up the mat and clean underneath, and then lay it back down.
