The pieces just pop together using hidden pegs and loops, creating a secure fit that does not require any adhesive. Just step on the edges once they’re lined up, and they will pop together.
By not using glue, you can disassemble the tiles at any time to take them to a new location. Practice at home, practice at the studio, or carry the tiles to a friend’s house for a group practice.
This tap floor board is made for DIY installations, making it a perfect selection for parents with kids in dance classes who want to be able to practice at home with a floor that’s similar in quality to what’s available at the studio or at a competition.
Each kit includes 36 tiles, 12 male borders, 12 female borders, and 4 corner pieces.

Q: We are a party rental business and are looking to purchase a portable dance floor. We are looking for up to a 12x12; would you recommend your 3x3 kits?
A: Our 3x3 kits would work well as a portable dance floor. Multiple kits can be connected to cover larger areas. You'll just end up with extra border strips. If most dance floors will be in that 12x12 range, you may be better off ordering our portable dance floor tiles and Max Tile Border Ramps and Corners to reduce having excess border strips.
Q: Can this flooring be used for an indoor roller skating practice area?
A: We do not recommend roller skating on this flooring.
Q: Can I install this floor kit over the carpet?
A: Yes. This can be installed over low-pile, unpadded carpet.
