Durable home gym black flooring tile. Use these black Rubber tiles 2x2 Ft 3/8 Inch black tiles where a durable rubber flooring tile option is needed. Purchase this product in single tiles for easy installation and with the option of beveled edges, while maintaining a finished look in your home gym floor.
Image number 4 shows a Corner Right. If we stand at the corner of the two straight non interlocking edges of the tile - then the right side is non-beveled. A Corner Left is the opposite, where the left straight edge side is non-beveled.
With this component system we can achieve a kit with beveled edges on two sides and two sides with non-beveled edges, this is handy when building a rubber floor that is not the entire size of the room and you may want to push the kit into a corner of your room. The outer edges of the tiles would then be beveled.
Please note that with kits or multiple component piece installations the grain of the surface pattern will not all run in the same direction.
This black rubber tile product is available in 2x2 ft x 3/8 inch tile size, which makes installation at home very easy. The interlocking tiles are water jet cut and will provide a very tight fitting installation. The top surface texture of this rubber flooring tile is very easy to clean and will not absorb moisture.
These 3/8 inch thick tiles have a thickness tolerance of +/- .035 inch. Specifically designed plastic shims that fit the interlocking design of this tile are provided with these rubber tiles in order to provide a solution if any of the tiles have different thicknesses.Shim Guide
This product does have a rubber smell that is a bit more than other rubber gym flooring products such as rolled rubber. We do not recommend this product to customers with a high sensitivity to smell, or for installations in homes with little fresh air intake. Comments from customers suggest that the rubber smell of these tiles is somewhat like a new car smell and dissipates over several weeks.

Comments from the manufacturer of this tile, regarding the images above that show color variations. This is what we refer to as shading or shadowing. It is a common issue found in recycled rubber products in Humane products. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done to solve this problem with our products. They can definitely try cleaning with a solution called Simple Green and a rotary brush to see if it eliminates some of the sheen, this may not work. Soap is usually not the best product to use when cleaning the mats as it can leave behind a residue on the black surface. These imperfections are usually not as noticeable once the customer places all their equipment and weights in the room.
We do recommend that our new line of blends, which utilizes a color & white blend in the black mats, which seems to minimize the shading or shadowing more than a single color tile.
For custom kit sizes please contact customer service. This product is also available in a 1/2 inch thickness.

Does the diamond texture make the surface less slippery? I read where some surfaces get slippery on sweaty feet.
