Maintenance and Care

The raised square pattern fibers in our molded pattern carpet mat for entryways will catch soils as people walk across the surface. These soils then fall into the deep grooves at the base of the runner.

Another option is to run a powerful vacuum cleaner over the top of the carpet layer, pulling the debris and dirt from the grooves. These poly fibers are extremely durable, meaning a customer can run the vacuum as often as a few times a day without damaging the runner.

To remove stubborn soils, customers can deploy a carpet cleaning machine over the top of the surface once or twice a month. Another option is to place the carpet runner outdoors and spray it with a garden hose. Allow it to dry in the sun before reinstalling it.

Sweep and clean the subfloor before returning the mat to its location. Having a clean subfloor will allow the rubber backing to firmly grip the subfloor, reducing the chance of the mat sliding out of place when people walk on it.
