Maintenance and Care

Because of the deep pattern on this carpet mat, committing to a regular process to maintain and clean the mat is the best way to ensure its longevity.

The deep patterns pull soils away from the surface of the mat and toward the rubber backing material. Don’t leave these soils in place, which will shorten the lifespan of the mat over time.

Some customers choose to shake the mats outside a few times a day to remove soils.

For stubborn dry soils, start the cleaning process by regularly vacuuming the mats. Use a powerful vacuum to pull the soils from the deep areas of the mat. These are tough mats, so customers can vacuum them several times a week and even a few times a day without affecting the integrity of the material.

For a more thorough cleaning, customers can run a carpet cleaning machine over the top. Some customers may choose to hire a carpet cleaning service to regularly clean the mats. It’s also possible to simply spray the mats with a garden hose outside and allow them to dry in the sun.
