Dance floor tiles from Greatmats can serve as a temporary dance floor, a studio practice floor, or anything in between.

Our dance floor tiles are easy to assemble, thanks to the interlock edging, the lightweight design, and the easy-to-handle size. Some styles have a faux wood grain pattern, which creates a great-looking space. After the event, these tiles are easy to clean with a damp mop.

How Customers Use Our Dance Floor Tiles

Customers who buy our dance floor tiles make use of them in a number of different ways.
  • Temporary Dance Floor: Set up a space for dancing at a wedding reception venue, at an anniversary party at home, or as another type of event flooring. It’s easy to disassemble and store the tiles when the event ends.
  • Portable Dance Floor: Thanks to the DIY nature of installing these portable dance floor tiles, it’s easy to take the tiles with you to use as temporary flooring anywhere. Some of these tiles even go over carpet.
  • Practice Dance Floor: Set up a practice space at home for tap, modern dance, ballet, or another style with these interlocking tiles. We offer pre-cut dance kit floor sizes using modular tiles to make them easy to install.
  • Dance Studio Floor: Although most dance studios would choose our Marley Dance Floor Rolls to cover a large space quickly, tiles work nicely in smaller spaces. When those spaces have other use cases beyond dance, it’s easy to remove the dance floor for a different event.
  • Cushioned Dance Floor: We offer cushioned dance subfloors that help keep students safe when they are practicing for long periods of time.

What Colors of Dance Floor Tiles Are Available?

Dance floor tiles often consist of vinyl over a plastic base. The plastic delivers the interlocking design, ensuring durability. The vinyl layer offers numerous printed wood grain patterns, including:
  • Beech
  • Cherry
  • Maple
  • Oak
  • Pine
  • Walnut

Multiple stain colors are available too, including light brown, dark brown, reddish-brown, and gray. Some tiles even have a faux stone pattern. A few kits contain solid colors of black or white floor tiles.
