Smart Transformations Couture Carpet Tile 1/4 Inch x 24x24 Inches 15 Per Case carpet tiles are durable and strong. The peel and stick pressure-sensitive adhesive makes easy installation for everyone. Couture modern carpet tiles can be installed over any clean and dry floor.

Our carpet squares will go over the top of a firm surface, like concrete or vinyl flooring. They will even go over the top of other carpeting, as long as that carpeting’s pile height is 3 mm or less (about 1/8 inches).

Environmentally Friendly Carpet Tiles

Our self stick 24x24 carpet tiles make use of Dura-Lock PET fibers. The PET fibers completely consist of recycled plastic bottles that go through a sterilization and purification process. This type of flooring keeps these bottles out of the landfill, giving them a new purpose that will last for many years.

Do not assume that the PET fibers will be uncomfortable, though. The manufacturing process creates a 1/4-inch pile height that fully looks and feels like traditional types of carpet, creating a comfortable place to sit on the floor and play with children or pets.

Customers can choose to place these tiles in an indoor or outdoor layout. They are fade resistant and wear resistant, so they will perform well in areas with direct sunlight, such as on a patio or near a backyard pool.

The manufacturer adds a coating that includes silver and copper to allow the PET fibers to resist the formation of mold, mildew, and odor. Even in areas that see a lot of moisture or that receive many different types of weather, these tiles will continue to perform at a high level.

The backing material also consists of the PET material for these tiles. This creates a highly durable combination. Fibers will not pull loose from the backing, nor will they fray or unravel, even in areas where people will be walking frequently either indoors or outdoors.

High Quality Designs and Colors in Carpet Squares

This is our Couture model of 24 inch self stick carpet tiles. The design lives up to the name, creating a high-end look that will impress visitors to the space.

Each tile has a design that almost resembles a bar code symbol. The tile has a primary base color, such as a single shade of black, blue, gray, or brown. It then uses a related color to create subtle vertical lines of varying widths across the length of the tile.

This design gives the installer the ability to install the tiles so the vertical lines match up among adjacent tiles, meaning the lines run the length of the room.

The other installation option is to turn each tile 90 degrees in comparison to any adjacent tile. This creates alternating horizontal and vertical lines in the overall layout, yielding an interesting pattern in the flooring.

Maintenance and Care

As with any type of carpeted floor, customers should care for and clean these self stick carpet tiles on a regular basis. Start by vacuuming the flooring at least once a week. In areas that see more frequent foot traffic, vacuum the tiles more often.

Should any spills or other soils appear on the carpet, spot clean them as soon as you notice them. Leaving the soils on the surface of the carpet could lead to staining over the long run. Blot any liquid spills, rather than rubbing the liquid, which could cause spreading of the stain.

Use a carpet cleaning solution on areas where stains persist. Do not apply the solution directly to the carpet. Apply it to a rag, and use the rag to blot the stain. Avoid using silicone-based stain repellent coatings on this carpet.

The manufacturer recommends having this model of carpet professionally cleaned once a year, or more frequently in a busy foot traffic area. Customers can do a DIY cleaning job with a carpet cleaning machine, if desired.

These are durable modern carpet tiles, and they carry a 5-year limited manufacturer warranty. Maintaining them and cleaning them on a regular basis will extend the lifespan of the tiles and help them look like new for a longer period of time.
