Warranty
WoodflexTM and GameflexTM (6.0 mm Standard, 6.7 mm Supreme, 8.0 mm Extreme)
Mats Inc. warrants that the floor covering be free from manufacturing defects (workmanship or material) and will replace defective material for a period of up to 1 year from date of purchase. Mats Inc. will furnish replacement flooring free of charge if there is a loss of original pattern and color under normal commercial use of WoodflexTM or GameflexTM 10 years from date of purchase, provided the flooring was installed and maintained according the standards set by Mats Inc.
This warranty shall include a reasonable amount for labor and that is required to remove and reinstall the replaced flooring. Mats Inc. is not responsible for any claims in terms of defects that could have been claimed prior to installation such as color differences or obvious surface defects. These defects have to be reported prior to installation.
Claims must be submitted to Mats Inc. within 30 days from when the customer has discovered the defect and must be in writing, fully supported by the required relevant information, including the batch number on the product.
This warranty does not include damage due to improper installation or maintenance, excessive moisture or alkalis in the sub-floor or conditions arising from hydrostatic pressure, burns, or loss due to inconvenience, incidental expenses or consequential damages.
Further exclusions from this warranty:
1. Color differences between batches and color-differences between shade cards, printed illustration, samples and original material
2. Lack of or inadequate protective matting at entrances or landings
3. Surface abrasion or gloss reduction from use
4. Claims due to improper installation, improper maintenance, use of not-recommended adhesives or maintenance materials
5. Damages due to burns, stains, cuts, scratches, scuffs, gouges, including lack of improper floor protectors and furniture rests.
6. Stains caused be by tracked-in foreign matters
7. Discoloration caused by sunlight, moisture, improper sub-floor, heat generation or elasticized migration.
