Interlocking Rubber Flooring Tiles 2x2 Ft Black

When I installed this product it was easy to install and layed flat. The product went down with no issues. I have my basement floor exercise equipment on this floor and it works great. I would recommend this interlocking rubber to anyone.

If I were to rate the product itself, I'd say B+. However, I am going to give it a C- when you factor in the issue I had with laying the tiles correctly.
The problem that I have with it, is that they have a sheen and a grain line in it. It is important that the tiles be laid all in the same order or else you get a patchwork look. We didn't notice this, and my installer just laid them out as he grabbed them. Once all installed, it looked pretty bad, and we had to try figure out which ones were in wrong and which ones weren't. This could all have been avoided if Great Mats had put stickers or some type of indicators on the tiles to bring this to our attention. A sticker would indicate, "all tiles should face this direction" or something like that. At the very least, a letter could have been stuck to the top of the pile to bring this to my attention. Very easy fix...too bad I wasn't at least told this before I bought them. In the end, we couldn't make it look perfect and decided to just live with it.
