Folding Gymnastics Mats 4x6 ft x 2.5 inch with V4 is made to order from the highest quality materials including an 18 oz. 6P-compliant vinyl covering and durable combination of two foams for the interior. The base layer features a 1-3/8-inch cross-linked polyethylene foam with a 1 inch polyurethane top layer which provides a softer landing surface.

Hook and Loop Fastener Information
V4 means that this mat has hook and loop fasteners on all four sides so you can create a full installation by connecting these side-to-side and end-to-end. Whereas V2 mats, only have hook and loop attachments on the short ends which creates long runs.
The hook and loop fastener is 2 inches wide to create a secure installation.
Gymnastics Mat Safety
Mats and protective equipment are not the complete answer to eliminating or reducing injuries; mats are not fail-safe. Nothing can substitute for proper instructions, spotting, and common sense in the teaching of gymnastics or other sporting activities. Landing on the head or in an out-of-control position can result in injuries even with excellent floor padding.
