The Interlocks on this Tile are Completely Hidden From View! The flexible PVC tile is also reinforced with special plasticizers for added rubber characteristics, such as sound absorption and resistance to liquids and normal household and auto chemicals.Interlocking tiles can be installed by any handy person with simple tools, a rubber mallet and a utility knife. It only takes about 30 seconds or so per tile. Trimming is very easy with a table saw or straight edge and utility knife. Since adhesive is not required, there is no risk of bonding failure, and to add to this, there's the advantage that tiles can be removed and reused at any time. The tiles can be installed over uncured concrete, wood floors, old tile, painted floors or floors that have cracks and pits up to 3/8 inch across.
