Pablo Silva BJJ Takes Overall Team Title in Houston

May 26, 2017 -- Pablo Silva BJJ earned a hard-fought overall team victory at the American Grappling Federation's 2017 Houston BJJ Championships, sponsored by Greatmats, on May 13 at The Zone in Houston, Texas, edging BJJ Revolution Team for the top spot.

Pablo Silva BJJ tallied a total of 230 team points while BJJ Revolution notched 179 points and Team Rivas BJJ, 148.

Team Rivas BJJ earned the majority of its points in the Kids No Gi division where it was the divisional title with 82 points over runner up The Darkside (66 points). BJJ Revolution Team came in third at 47 points.

Pablo Silva BJJ also earned more than half of its points in a single division, racking up 120 points on the way to winning the Kids Gi Division. Team Rivas was second in the division with 52 points, followed by BQuick JJ with 48 points.

Alvarez BJJ earned the Adults No Gi Divisional Title, defeated Gracie Barra Lake Charles by 15 points. BVMMA finished in third place.

BJJ Revolution Team grabbed just over half of its team points in the Adults Gi division where it won edged Pablo Silva BJJ for the Divisional Title 93-76. Elite MMA finished third.
