2016 AGF Tulsa Open Title Claimed by Triton Fight Center

The American Grappling Federation Tulsa Open was filled with tough Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competition on Saturday, June 16 and defending team champion Triton Fight Center did not disappoint in guarding its crown.

The reigning champs compiled 490 team points, topping runner up Clinch Martial Arts Academy by a whopping 83 points. Placing third, with 240 points, was Team LDMA (Living Defense Martial Arts).

Triton Fight Center won three of the four divisions, compiling the majority of its points in the Kids Gi Division where it racked up 149 points. It also won the Adults Gi Division with 134 points and Kids Gi Division with 133 points.

Clinch Martial Arts Academy pounded the mat in the Adults Gi Division where it more than doubled Triton Fight Center with 169 points. Triton Fight Center was second with 74 points and Academy of Martial Arts was third with 39 points.

Clinch Martial Arts Academy was the Adults Gi Division runner up with 113 points, followed by Team LDMA, with 68. It also placed second in the Kids No Gi Division with 74 points, again followed by Team LDMA, with 73.

Team LDMA had its highest finish in the Kids Gi Division where it was second with 84 points. Sandro Sampaio BJJ Academy took third with 56.

Eight Four team recorded points at the tournament. Rounding out the top 10 were: Sandro Sampaio BJJ Academy (142), Rubalcava Jiu Jitsu (99), Cobra BJJ (95), Omar French BJJ, Academy of Martial Arts (70), Lovato BJJ (67) and MHBJJA (Mike Harris BJJ Association, 50).
