When doing significant remodeling on the exterior of a building or home, workers may want to bring in a boom lift or a scissors lift to handle the job versus using ladders. Even though the lifts will save time versus climbing up and down a ladder, the property owner may not want to see damage to the existing yard.

Our grass protection mats are the perfect solution. These mats are the best for sale for creating a roadway for driving the lift or other types of heavy equipment into place near the building.

Even if the ground around the building is soft from recent rain, the durable polyethylene plastic mats will distribute the weight from the tires of the equipment to prevent the vehicles from sinking into the soft turf and from leaving significant tire tracks.

When laying out these mats, do not place them over a drainage ditch or try to span a creek or stream. These mats must go over the top of firm ground. If trying to span a ditch, the portion of the mat that is not touching the ground may not be able to hold the weight of vehicles, bicycles, or people walking on it.

Maintenance and Care

Customers appreciate the ease of keeping these grass protection mats in top working condition. The durable material in these mats means that customers do not have to purchase special equipment to clean them or spend a lot of time maintaining them.

If desired, customers can wash the mats with a garden hose or a power washer to remove mud and plants that stick to the surface as vehicles drive across them.

It’s also possible to leave the mats in place without cleaning them until the job is completed. These mats will not suffer damage or lose their ability to hold weight if they are wet or caked in mud, which can happen when people use plywood sheets to make temp roads.

After finishing using the mats, customers will want to wash them off before moving them into storage. Allow them to dry before stacking them.
