Jill started our studio in 2013, and our studio had to share a space with another dance company for two years. After obtaining our own space above an existing dance consignment store and adjacent to another dance studio for one year, we were displaced in March of this year and were told we would need to find a new building by the end of the dance season. After many phone calls and prayers, we found a building just down the street from our existing space.
As you can imagine, picking up the pieces after being blindsided and uprooted is difficult and expensive. We are still trying to find the funds to renovate our new space and give our kids a new dance home that will last for years to come. Our existing studio had unleveled laminate floors which were difficult and painful for the dancers to use, but they worked through it ,and we have had a very successful dance year despite our adversity. If A2J Crew Dance Kompany won this giveaway, we would have proper dance floors for the very first time. It would be the perfect beginning to our studio's next chapter.
As our studio name stands for ''All to Jesus,'' we have faith that we will win the voting contest and be chosen to receive the grand prize. I, Mackenzie, thank you for the opportunity to win such a fantastic reward.
